PowerPoint is NOT Your Speech

Click here to read a great article by Bert Decker explaining that your PowerPoint (or Keynote for Mac users) should not be the focus of your presentation. However, the article points out that visuals are important because most learning comes from seeing and observing. What the article stresses is striking the correct balance between you, your speech and the visuals.

He compliments Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple (pictured above) on being able to use his energy and enthusiasm to captivate an audience's attention. He especially likes that Job's will put up a blank slide to bring attention back to the presentation. Click here for an analysis of how to present like Steve Jobs.
